Some love stories are written across countries, and Damiana and Nicholas’s wedding was exactly that - an incredible celebration where Australia, America, Italy, and France all intertwined to create something truly unforgettable.
From the very beginning, this couple placed their trust in us from afar, working with us to send their invitations across the globe - from America to Europe - so their guests could enjoy a beautifully designed experience that began well before they arrived in France.
The wedding aesthetic was rooted in sage green and white, a palette that felt effortlessly elegant against the timeless French countryside. We leaned into soft curved edges throughout the stationery suite, creating a sense of flow and harmony that mirrored the romance of the day.
Every detail carried personal meaning. The table names reflected the couple’s favourite places, weaving their story into the reception in such an intentional and heartfelt way. Guests were welcomed with a gorgeous linen welcome sign, purposely designed for an outdoor setting and suspended beneath the stars - an elegant gesture that came alive as the French moonlight fell across the celebration.
It also felt incredibly natural working with Damiana and Nicholas as our own Italian cultural background gave us a shared sense of warmth and tradition. That connection made the design process flow effortlessly, and the stationery became not only a reflection of their love story but also a nod to the cultural threads that brought everyone together.
It was a wedding that beautifully represented the meeting of worlds - Italian heritage, French romance, and Australian craftsmanship - all united in one unforgettable day. Damiana and Nicholas’s trust made it possible for us to bring this vision to life, and we couldn’t be more honoured to have played a small part in their extraordinary celebration.
