Monique and Dean’s day was a masterclass in restraint with personality. A palette rooted in ivory, warm browns and soft, layered greens set the tone — calm, grounded and quietly romantic — while playful, handwritten moments kept things light-hearted and full of charm.
Every detail felt intentional but never overworked. Tables were dressed in soft linens and natural textures, allowing the stationery to shine without shouting. Custom bent table numbers became sculptural moments in their own right — not just numbers, but conversation pieces. Each one curved and shaped with intention, adding movement and softness to the tablescape.
The hand-moulded place cards were true little works of art. Organic in form, tactile in feel, and perfectly imperfect, they brought a sense of craftsmanship and individuality to every place setting. No two were exactly the same — much like the guests they were made for.
A mix of handwritten fonts flowed throughout the day, setting the tone somewhere between romantic and cheeky. Nothing too polished. Nothing too serious. Just the right balance of elegance and personality. Menus, signage and paper goods felt warm, personal and lived-in — as though they belonged exactly where they were placed.
One of the standout moments? The fabric seating chart plinths. Soft, textural and beautifully understated, they added height and structure without stealing attention. Draped fabrics in earthy tones created a sculptural backdrop that felt both modern and timeless.
And then there was the bar. A true crowd favourite. Vintage love memes played on a moving screen — nostalgic, funny, and a little tongue-in-cheek. It was the perfect unexpected moment, giving guests something to smile at between sips and conversations. Proof that romance doesn’t always have to be serious to be meaningful.
Monique and Dean’s celebration was thoughtful, playful and beautifully balanced. A day where design met personality, and where every detail — from sculptural paper to soft fabrics and handwritten touches — told a story of love that felt effortless, warm and entirely their own.
